Sherman & Howard's public finance attorneys have considerable experience in the municipal swap market. We are nationally recognized for our work on municipal swaps, having worked on one of the first long-term municipal swaps performed in 1991. Since that time, we have acted as lead swap counsel on more than 50 municipal swap transactions in Nevada and Colorado. We have also assisted in drafting legislation authorizing interest rate swaps for local governments.
