Airline Fuel Consortia

To control cost and to ensure timely, safe and high-quality delivery of aircraft fuel, airlines at airports throughout the United States have formed fuel consortia to lease and operate fuel storage and delivery systems and to retain common into-plane service providers.  Sherman & Howard is a leader in this practice area on a national basis. Sherman & Howard has represented more than 25 such fuel consortia at major metropolitan airports throughout the United States. We have represented these entities in their formation, in preparation and negotiation of leases and key contracts, in the financing of fuel system construction projects, in construction law matters pertaining to fuel system construction, and in bankruptcy proceedings relating to individual airlines, as well as in other general business matters.
