Sherman & Howard Summer Associates Volunteer Efforts
to Habitat for Humanity

Sherman & Howard L.L.C. Summer Associates Jordan Chase, Claire Rowland, Keith Willis, Kellie Nelson, Matt Morrison, Brian Wolf and Madoche Jean spent June 19th in Brighton, Colorado, assisting in the construction of a house with Habitat for Humanity International.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry which welcomes all people—regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or any other difference—to build simple, decent, affordable houses under trained supervision. Habitat affiliates work locally in communities around the world to select and support homeowners, organize volunteers and coordinate house building. Homeowners are selected based on their need for housing, their ability to repay a mortgage and their willingness to work in partnership with Habitat. Houses are sold through a no-profit mortgage, which is made possible by individuals, corporations, faith groups and others who provide vital financial support. Since its founding in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 225,000 houses, providing shelter for more than one million people in nearly 90 countries around the world.
