Sherman & Howard Elects Four New Members

DENVER - Sherman & Howard L.L.C. is pleased to announce the January 29 election of Joseph J. Davis, Melissa Kerin Reagan, Teri Scott and Brooke Yates to Membership in the Firm.

Joseph J. Davis is a Member in the Business and Corporate Practice in Sherman & Howard's Denver office. He represents businesses in a variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions, franchise law, general advice including entity formation, governance matters, stock sale/purchase and exchange and contribution agreements. Joe also provides general advice to non-profit companies and associations. He received his law degree, with highest distinction, from University of Iowa College of Law in 2006 where he was a member of Order of the Coif. Joe received his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Colorado State University in 2002.

Melissa Kerin Reagan is a Member in Sherman & Howard's Litigation Practice in Denver. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation and insurance recovery matters. Melissa received her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2005 where she was the associate editor for the University of Colorado Law Review. She received her bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Finance, magna cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis in 1999.

Teri Scott is a Member in the Business and Corporate Practice in Sherman & Howard's Denver office. Her practice focuses on cable television and programming as well as telecommunications and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to attending law school, Teri was an executive with several telecommunications and cable companies including AT&T Broadband, Tele-Communications, Inc. and Time Warner. She received her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2006 where she was a member of Order of the Coif. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1990.

Brooke Yates is a Member in the Commercial Litigation Practice in Sherman & Howard's Denver office. Her practice focuses on construction, including the representation of contractors and subcontractors, contracts, insurance recovery and cyber risk. Brooke received her juris doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006. She received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver in 2003.
