Ted Olsen Named One of Nation’s 100 Most Powerful Employment Law Attorneys

May 19, 2009, DENVER - Sherman & Howard's Ted Olsen has been named one of the nation's 100 Most Powerful Employment Law Attorneys. Olsen received this distinction from Human Resources Executive magazine following research done by Lawdragon, a Los Angeles based networking site for lawyers and clients. The top 100 lawyers were selected on the basis of curriculum vitae analysis, evaluations by clients and reporting by the Lawdragon staff.

Mr. Olsen leads Sherman & Howard's Employment Law practice. He has represented employers of all sizes in employment law matters for more than 30 years. His practice focuses on layoffs and furloughs, employee discharge and discipline, non-compete agreement enforcement, protection of trade secrets, disability access, workplace violence, wage and hour matters, sexual harassment, defamation, and class actions, trials and appeals. He is a fellow in the College of Labor & Employment Law. He received his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1978 and his bachelors degree from Boston University in 1975.
