David Lucas Welcomed as Public Finance Associate

Sherman & Howard L.L.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Associate David K. Lucas to its office in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Lucas will join the Public Finance Group as an Associate, and will focus his practice on General Governmental Bonds, Public Education K-12 and Industrial Development and Nonprofit Corporations. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2001, and received two Bachelors of Science degrees from the University of Nebraska in 1998. Before joining Sherman & Howard, Mr. Lucas worked as a judicial clerk for Kenneth C. Stephan of the Nebraska Supreme Court from 2001-2002, after which he practiced at two law firms in Nebraska while also acting as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at the University of Nebraska College
of Law.

Sherman & Howard's Public Finance Group was recently ranked by Thomson Financial seventh in the nation as disclosure counsel and ninth in the nation in the bond counsel (competitive sale) category for the first quarter of 2008.
