Representative Matters
- Obtained a $14 million award for a multinational energy company in an international arbitration demanding a reinsurer fund legal settlements arising out of a catastrophic accident. Subsequently defended the international arbitration award against a challenge filed in the United States District Court, which resulted in a settlement for the client paying it the full arbitration award, interest and all attorneys' fees incurred in the defense of the arbitration award.
- Represented a medical practice in its claims that its design-builder failed to account for expansive soils, leading to a settlement in excess of $1.5 million. Pursued the general contractor's assigned claims against its insurance carrier, resulting in additional negotiated settlements for the client.
- Successfully prosecuted claims on behalf of a general contractor in a two-week arbitration resulting in an award in excess of $1.2 million against the owner for wrongful termination.
- Represents physicians in disciplinary hearings before the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners.
