We welcomed summer associates from four different universities across the country this year. Our eight-week summer associate program offers professional development, unique opportunities, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
During the first half of the program our summer associates learned about and worked in a variety of practice areas and received litigation and transactional assignments. The last four weeks of the program the summer associates selected a service area on which to focus. They also completed a Capstone project, which is a challenging, deep-dive, practice-specific assignment that enabled our summer associates to demonstrate their research, writing, analytical, oral-presentation, and time-management skills.
Oh, there were plenty of opportunities to network and enjoy some team building, too. The summer associates even took in a Rockies game.
